The Application Certificate is a certificate used by a computer application to ensure the authenticity and integrity of the messages or files signed by the application. The certificate subscriber is the entity that uses the application for which the certificate is requested. The entity is identified on the certificate to enable identification of the entity that has installed the certificate in its computer application. This certificate issued by Izenpe is to be used exclusively by the subscriber for the authentication and integrity of the messages and/or files generated by the application.
The Code Signing Certificate is a certificate used to ensure the authenticity and integrity of a software component. The certificate subscriber is the entity that owns the software component signed by the certificate; there is no identification of the individual. This certificate issued by Izenpe is to be used exclusively by the subscriber to guarantee the authentication and integrity of a software component.

*The issue process for both certificates requires rigourous verification of the documentation submitted. For this reason, Izenpe has established a 30-day period for issuance of these certificates from the time the request has been received. Please bear in mind this time period when applying for your certificate.
